Hairfest a success

The audience got a chance to examine techniques by aspiring Modern College stylists and some of the world’s best.

About 200 spectators watched some talented world renowned hair artists work their magic this weekend at the fourth annual Hair Competition and Show which took place at the Best Western on Sunday.

The event showcased Modern College of Hairstyling and Esthetics students, local and surrounding area Salon Licensed Stylists (and owners viewing potential future employees) and was topped off by world renowned judges who put on several world class demonstrations for everyone in attendance.

Modern College officials were impressed with the overwhelming community support.

If you are interested in becoming a Hairstylist or Esthetician be sure to visit moderncollege.ca to inquire about starting your training in September (seats limited).
