A North Bay family, grateful for the work police officers are doing during the coronavirus crisis, showed its appreciation Saturday night by dropping off donut shop gift cards.
"So tonight we had a family deliver a Tim card for EVERY ONE of our officers as a thank you, then Tim Hortons also added a contribution to each card as well! Big thank you to everyone involved," tweeted the police service.
With it was a letter.
"It's not easy to get up and go to work every day putting yourselves at risk to help others in need, just know it doesn't go unnoticed," the letter reads. "We appreciate it and can't thank you enough.
"You all are watching over us, just know that we have a guarding angel watching over you."
