Government announces infrastructure money for Nipissing projects

The District of Nipissing will get $3.3M across 13 municipalities for local community infrastructure needs says MPP Vic Fedeli.

The money goes to projects in small, rural, and northern communities through the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund to build and repair roads, bridges, water and wastewater infrastructure.

The fund provides stable and predictable funding for communities with populations under 100,000, along with all rural and northern communities. The nature of the projects was not included in the announcement.
