Goodrow nets OT winner in Game 2

GUELPH, ON - Barclay Goodrow scored at 2:31 of overtime to lead the North Bay Battalion to a 4-3 overtime victory over the Guelph Storm in game 2 of the best-of-seven OHL Final.

GUELPH, ON - Barclay Goodrow scored at 2:31 of overtime to lead the North Bay Battalion to a 4-3 overtime victory over the Guelph Storm in game 2 of the best-of-seven OHL Final. 

The Battalion even the series 1-1 after battling back from a 2-0 first period lead and a 3-2 3rd period deficit.  

Marcus McIvor, Matthew Santos and Nick Paul scored in regulation for the Troops who outshot the homeside 41-24. 

Robby Fabbri scored twice for the Storm and Steven Trojanovic had the other only 1:16 into the opening period.  

It was another close checking game which really played more into the hands of the North Bay Battalion as Storm head coach Scott Walker wasn't able to open up the game; the way the Storm like to play.  

The Storm took game 1 of another tight checking contest 3-2 as Jason Dickinson was the OT hero beating Smith on the first Storm shot in overtime.  

Game 3 of the series takes place on Tuesday at North Bay Memorial Gardens with puck drop set at 7 pm.
