Gas station construction shuffle along the bypass

Three service stations under construction; one is closing

The MacEwan Gas Bar on Algonquin Avenue is no more.

The service station near Sobey’s had its gas pumps demolished on Tuesday.  Work crews continue with their work on the site today.

It’s a busy area, as just across the street, construction is beginning on the foundation of a new Starbuck’s coffee shop.

The Starbucks is expected to open in early 2019.
