A frost advisory has been issued for:
- North Bay - West Nipissing
- Témiscamingue
- Greater Sudbury and vicinity
- Temiskaming Shores - Temagami
Some plants may be damaged or even destroyed by frost.
Widespread frost is expected across a large portion of northern Ontario Thursday morning as temperatures dip to near or below the freezing mark.
North Bay will see clearing before morning. Risk of a thunderstorm early this evening. Wind southwest 20 km/h gusting to 40 becoming light this evening. Low zero with frost.
On the bright side, tomorrow will be sunny but the high will only reach 11.
Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas. Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.
