Environment Canada has issued its first frost advisory for the fall.

A frost advisory is in effect for:

  • Témiscaming area
  • Temagami
  • New Liskeard -
  • Kirkland Lake - Englehart
  • Ville-Marie area

Temperatures will drop to near the freezing mark overnight Monday night.

Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.

Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.

It's also going to be cold in the North Bay area. Fog patches will develop overnight. Low of only plus 4.
