Four in hospital after drunk driving collision in Huntsville

OPP say a traffic accident involving a drunk driver sent four people to the hospital on Sunday afternoon. 

On August 1 Huntsville OPP responded to numerous traffic complaints on Highway 60 about an erratic driver resulting in a collision.  

Huntsville OPP members found the vehicle and with the help of witnesses, located the driver. The initial investigation revealed that the driver had consumed alcohol prior to the collision. Four people were taken to hospital with injuries.  

Alexander Kameka, 32, of Etobicoke, is charged with:  

  • Operation while impaired - causing bodily harm
  • Dangerous operation
  • Dangerous operation - causing bodily harm

Kameka is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Huntsville on September 15.
