Four arrested in Sturgeon Falls drug bust

A search of the residence led to the seizure of suspected Fentanyl in blue, green and purple, bear spray, drug paraphernalia, cell phone and Canadian currency

A drug bust in Sturgeon Falls last Thursday resulted in the arrest of three area people and one from southern Ontario.

OPP say on July 15 they executed a search warrant at a home on Arthur Street in Sturgeon Falls. 

A search led to the seizure of blue, green and purple Fentanyl, bear spray, drug paraphernalia, a cell phone and cash.

Dakota Pellerin, 21, male from St-Charles is charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Opioid 
  • Two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

Maxime Emond, 35, male and Cassandra Puskas, female, 31, both from Sturgeon Falls were charged with possession of a Schedule I Substance - Opioid.

All three are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on September 2, in Sturgeon Falls.

Savion Comrie,18, male,from Brampton is charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking - Opioid 
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 

Members of the OPP Community Street Crime Unit, Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, Greater Sudbury Police Service and members of Nipissing West OPP Detachment assisted in the raid.
