Foreign energy interest in North Bay?

Officials from a Ukrainian solar plant manufacturer made a visit to North Bay on Monday.    

Invest North Bay stated through social media that the company is interested in renewable energy projects as they met with Mayor Al McDonald. 

“Pleased to welcome Oleksandr Riepkin from Tokmak Solar energy and Maryna Moskalova- Riepkina from Inankiv Teploservice to North Bay,” stated Mayor Al McDonald via Facebook.  

“They have traveled from the Ukraine and they are interested in our city.”  

Invest North Bay says the Ukranian company is looking for investment opportunities in Canada for their Renewable Energy projects and The City of North Bay is high on their list.
