The North Bay Food Bank got a big cash injection thanks to Your Independent Grocer in North Bay.

Debbie Marson, the executive director of the North Bay Food Bank recently accepted a cheque for $3,721.47 from a holiday campaign organized by the grocery outlet.

"The support of our retail partners like Parker's Your Independent Grocer is tremendously appreciated," Marson told BayToday.

"From hosting our Food Bank collection bins in their store where the customers have an avenue to donate, to supporting the food bank with food and fundraisers, Parker's (Independent Grocer) is always there for us and our clients."

She says the donation goes a long way to help us provide for their clients.
