At the bottom of all of our local stories, readers now have the option of submitting feedback. Here's what BayToday readers had to say about what was making news over the last week:

Sept. 9:

Wooden boardwalk at waterfront getting a facelift

"Is this part of the $52,000,000 Downtown/Waterfront Master Plan being implemented one piece at a time to cover up the costs? How much are we paying for this 'improvement?'"
- Kaamen S.

Sept. 8:

Sept. 7:

Opinion: Dave Dale, Infected with that nasty civic duty bug

"Good morning, I think your decision to run is a great idea. Bringing new ideas to the city should always be welcome, but can any of your ideas be successful? We've seen that before, a great idea was blocked by the rest of the councillors. Dave take your time, Think about it, maybe starting at the top, is better to run for Mayor? Good luck, let us know more of your thoughts as you go along! 'You could do worse.'"
- Mark M.

"I'm a firm believer that every property owner should have the right to vote. I am also a firm believer that absentee owners should not have the right to run for office where they own property unless they reside there. The laws of the land should be changed so that people can only run for office where their primary residence is. That would keep the likes of Al McDonald out of North Bay politics and keep them in East Ferris where they belong."
- Kaamen S.

Sept. 3:

Opinion: Don Curry, Immigration not a federal election issue But that doesn’t mean we can ignore the under-belly of our city

"Just because someone believes that we should lower immigration quotas or implement a full moratorium does not make them right wing. I am centre-left on the political axis and even I believe that we do not talk enough about the negative impact unfettered migration has had on our country. I was raised to ask questions and demand accountability from our leaders. Full consensus among all parties on an issue like immigration should worry everyone; the government does not act in our best interest, only in what they think will guarantee them control and power. "
