Today, Jay Aspin, Member of Parliament for Nipissing-Timiskaming, announced $30,000 for Wip Ware Photoanalysis Systems (North Bay) through the Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP).

Wip Ware offers an innovative and high tech product line which appeals to a large mining customer base. The product line allows the customer to collect critical data which allows them to make key decisions relating to mineral processing operations and achieve increased efficiencies and cost savings.

“This IRAP funding will allow us to focus in three specific areas; developing a more effective international strategy, marketing our products to the construction aggregates industry and preparing improved marketing material for unique applications,” said Wip Ware President Tom Palangio. “This approach will dramatically improve the overall Wip Ware profile to the mining and construction industries.”

“The Government of Canada is proud to partner with Wip Ware to create jobs and strengthen the economy of Northern Ontario,” said Aspin. “Today’s announcements will allow Wip Ware to increase its work force by 75%.”
