The North Bay Farmers’ Market 3rd winter season this Saturday, escaping the coming winter with its cold temperatures and icy Lake Nipissing winds.

"The citizens of North Bay have shown the Farmers Market such a warm welcome over the past two years by supporting local farmers and small business owners all winter long we knew we had to keep going," said Stephanie Booth, Market Manager. "To make this year even better, we have expanded the Farmers' Market into a second retail store to provide you with more of the vendors you love to shop with."

Starting October 20 the Winter Market Season will be at the North Bay Mall on Lakeshore Drive. Every Saturday the market will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"You will find some of our MyPick Verified producers at the market. They have adapted to our climate and customer requests to grow produce in greenhouses, to ensure you can still get fresh produce during the winter months," added Booth. "Of course, you will find some food staples there too, like fresh baking, maple syrup, jams and jellies, and local meat products. Even some of our local artisans are returning to provide you with local handmade items."
