The Families First New Years Eve Celebration is just around the corner and this time it's celebrating the 25th Anniversary.

The event will welcome in the New Year with family-oriented activities including the ever-popular family skate, button making station, and inflatable bouncy land.

Other activities include an interactive reptile show, face painting, family swim  (1 - 4 p.m.), a sweet treat and the extra grand finale fireworks display to round off the evening.

The free family event will take place on Monday, December 31 from 5 - 9 p.m. with activities at Thomson Park, Memorial Gardens and the YMCA.

“We encourage all members of the community and their families to come down and join us in an evening of fun and entertainment,” said Brian Winkworth, Families First Committee

Admission is free but everyone is encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation for the North Bay Food Bank.

“The entire Committee would like to thank all of our sponsors and donors of this event.” said Wendy Prieur, Families First Committee. “It wouldn’t be possible without you!”
