Nipissing West OPP responded to complaints of a man in possession of a firearm in West Nipissing yesterday afternoon.
He was found concealing a replica handgun.
As a result of the investigation, Dieven Lindsay, 22, from West Nipissing was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Carrying a concealed weapon
- Possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order and
- Failing to comply with a probation order.
Lindsay was held for a bail hearing.
