East Algoma OPP advise as of 11:12am Hwy 17 at Spanish is now open to one lane.

East Algoma OPP are warning motorists that as of 10:25am Hwy 17 - 2km west of Spanish is CLOSED due to Extreme flooding – 20 meter washout both lanes are closed.

There is no detour available and the stimated duration of road closure is unknown.
