Hundreds of children stormed Thompson Park around noon today when the fog horn sounded to launch the Hershey Giant Easter Egg Hunt.

Organized by the North Bay and Area Museum, the event included games, face painting and prizes.

The key goal, though, was for the youngsters to run around areas of the park in pursuit of Hershey chocolate treats.

Plenty had been prescattered on the grounds.
But museum volunteers tossed handsful more to make sure no one left empty-handed.

Tummy aches are anticipated.
