Echo reverberates for Jason

The North Bay Police Service has charged a 23-year-old North Bay man after a vehicle stolen Jan. 22 was recoverd.

The vehicle, a 2005 Toyota Echo stolen from a parking lot in the 300 block of Algonquin Avenue, was later found intact near the intersection of Main and John streets. At this time the rear plate was missing. It is Ontario #AVAR 482.

The vehicle in question had been left running with the doors unlocked.

Cst. Marc Ethier & Cst. Vincent Corrente investigated and arrested a man on Friday for the theft of the vehicle.

Jason Topps, of Thelma Avenue, has been charged with theft over $5,000 and possession under $5,000.
