A 23-year-old Corbeil man has been charged by the Ontario Provincial Police following a two-vehicle collision this morning on Highway 17, just west of Centennial Crescent.

Damien Howard was traveling eastbound on the highway in a grey 2001 Toyota Tacoma. His vehicle crossed the center line and struck a westbound black 1995 Jeep Cherokee driven by David Ross, 45, of Corbeil. Howard’s Toyota then entered the north ditch and rolled over. He was the only person injured in this collision and was sent to the North Bay General Hospital via ambulance, and is now listed in stable condition with a back injury.

Howard is charged with failing to drive in a marked lane, under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario (HTA).
