North Bay police say two men were arrested this weekend after another man was robbed of drug paraphernalia last month.

In June a youth, who was carrying a knife, and another man, who held a pellet pistol that resembled a handgun, entered the victim’s room with the intent to rob him. The room is located in a shared residence in North Bay.

They are also accused of threatening the victim with the weapons and of stealing drug paraphernalia.

The two accused are known to the victim, who was not injured.

On Saturday, following an investigation into a complaint that was reported to police on Friday July 22nd, they arrested and charged two people.

A young person under 18 faces two charges under the Youth Criminal Justice Act:

  • One count of robbery; and

Cody Billy Daniel Lariviere, age 18, faces three charges under the Criminal Code:

  • One count of robbery;
  • One count of point firearm; and

The youth was held in custody pending a bail hearing, while Lariviere was released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for Tuesday, September 6th.
