Cupid must be disappointed.

Police report that four domestic complaints investigated by the North Bay Police on Valentine’s Day resulted in charges.

A 30-year-old man reported a complaint of harassment by his ex-girlfriend. While he was providing a statement, the woman continuously texted and called the victim. The 24-year-old woman was arrested for Harassment and released on a Promise to Appear and Undertaking to appear in court at a later date.

Also, a 48-year-old woman confronted her 49-year-old male ex-boyfriend and assaulted him. The woman's 29-year-old old son watched the assault and threatened to kill his mother’s ex-boyfriend.

The female was charged with assault and the son was charged with uttering threats. Both were released on a Promise to Appear and Undertaking to appear in court at a later date.

Then, a 23-year-old male celebrated Valentine’s Day with his 30-year-old female fiancé and upon returning to their home, started to argue. The woman says her boyfriend pushed her to the floor and stomped on her head causing her injuries.

North Bay Police officers arrested him and charged him with Assault Causing Bodily Harm and two counts of Breach of Probation. He was held in custody for a Bail hearing.

And finally, police got a complaint of a domestic assault and when they arrived at the home of a 36-year-old male victim, they noticed visible bite marks and a cut on his face. He said that he had been slapped, punched and bitten by his 30-year-old girlfriend.

She was arrested for Assault and released on Promise to Appear and Undertaking to appear in court at a later date.
