Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police say the body was discovered inside the remains of a Daisy Trial structure in Algonquin Highlands Township late Thursday night.
"Upon emergency service arrival the structure was fully engulfed by fire," say police. "The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal as well as OPP Forensic Identification Services attended the scene."
Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 12:30 a.m. Friday.
Algonquin Highlands, Dorset and Lake of Bays Fire along with members of Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Muskoka EMS responded to a structure fire.
The body has been sent to Centre of Forensic Sciences to determine the identity.
