Monday evening saw a lively council meeting of cross town traffic, dance and Sports Hall of Fame figures presenting long into the evening.

The evening had many good presentations from the area's citizens brought before council to inform and request support.

The majority of the four hour regular council meeting saw debate and discussion regarding traffic concerns in a specific area of the city; surprisingly this also included a city wide speed limit reduction.

Presenters from the Canadian Arts Council showed a video about dance and their activities in the community.

Sport's Hall of Fame presenters also informed council about their ever increasing need for space and displays for their contingent of local historic sports figures.

Of course, the evening wouldn't be complete without touching on at least some infrastructure planning, this time being the extension on Lakeshore out to the new industrial commercial area in the Pinewood Park area.
