Crime of the Week For April 29, 2004
Near North Crime Stoppers and the North Bay detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a break, enter and theft.

Sometime between 7 pm on Monday April 19, and 10 am Tuesday April 20, 2004, unknown thieves forced their way onto the property of Sauve’s Garage, on Maple Rd in Bonfield, and then gained access into the building.

Once inside they stole numerous tools, including standard measure sockets and wrenches, snap-on screwdrivers, and power hand tools (grinders, drills, flaring tools).

Most tools were marked with an identifier. The thieves also stole a recently purchased chop saw. The value of the items is in excess of $5000.00
