It's probably the strangest arrest North Bay Police Officer Ryan Robertson will make in his career.

On Monday morning, Robertson had to apprehend a bear, ironically in a tree at the North Bay Courthouse.

Due to close proximity to people, police arrived with the MNR to remove the cub.

"I couldn't BEAR to leave him there" stated Officer Robertson as he removed a crab apple thief from a tree at the courthouse. With MNR help the cub will attend a sanctuary. Police advise don't attempt a rescue. Let the pros do it," stated a Tweet from the NBPS.
