Police are crediting the tipster, saying that knowing your neighbourhood is an asset to your household and those around you.

"If you see unusual activity in your neighbourhood call the police. You may be helping a person in need in these cold temperatures or you may help the police make your neighbourhood a safer place," says Constable John Schultz.
