North Bay is taking its third stab at finding a communications officer for City Hall.
See: That didn't last long. City's communications officer resigns
The first attempt last year resulted in the hiring of Jaclyn Bucik from Orillia. However, she resigned in May after only months on the job.
Another effort this spring came up empty despite a number of local applicants.
Now the city hopes the third time is the charm and reposted the job to its website yesterday.
See it here.
The posting says, "The Communications Officer will assist departments and the Corporation as a whole, in the development and delivery of effective corporate communications; advance the branding and marketing of the City; coordinate all corporate public relations activities and events; administer corporate standards and protocols for electronic social media networking mediums and content management of the corporate intranet; oversee the graphic presentation and content management of the corporate web site; assist in the preparation and distribution of media notices or releases; and act as a corporate media liaison as required."

The ad doesn't give salary specifics, but with benefits, it's expected to top $100,000.
