Concert For Peace in Ukraine planned for Wednesday

You're INVITED! Please JOIN us next Wednesday, June 15, 7 p.m. at our beautiful waterfront Kiwanis bandshell for a 2-hour Concert for Peace in Ukraine featuring The Maple Hill Project

A Concert For Peace in support of Ukraine will take place Wednesday at the Kiwanis Bandshell on the waterfront.

The event will feature Maple Hill Project, who are donating their time for the cause. The concert runs 7-9 p.m.

"When the Ukraine invasion began, we all wanted a quick resolve and many looked for ways to help the people of Ukraine," says committee member Ralph Celentano.

Two local women, Lori Burns and Cindie D'Agostino, found a way to support and send funds to purchase non-lethal protective equipment for front-line people in need.

The Vest Project, a non-profit association created by D'Agostino and Burns, is raising funds to buy defensive safety gear.
