Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for:

  • North Bay - West Nipissing,
  • Greater Sudbury and vicinity,
  • New Liskeard - Temagami,
  • Burk's Falls - Bayfield Inlet,
  • Huntsville - Baysville
  • Témiscaming area, Que.

Snow and blowing snow is expected to develop tonight near the shores of Georgian Bay and Lake Superior and then spread northeastward through the day Tuesday.

Snowfall accumulations of 10 to 15 cm are likely before the snow tapers to flurries Tuesday night. For Huntsville, the snow will likely change over to rain Tuesday evening as temperatures rise above the freezing mark.

The system responsible is a Colorado low that will affect much of the province.
