Resurfacing

·  The resurfacing contract is based on the actual tonnage of asphalt used so after the tender prices have come in we estimate we how many roads we are able to resurface based on the unit prices. This year we have completed the roads we were expecting to finish and we underestimated by approximately $300,000 (i.e. needed less material do to the repairs required). In order to complete the program we are bringing the contractor back to resurface the following roads that would have been on next year’s list: Ski Club from 719 Ski Club to little bit pass Chapais; Lakeshore Drive from Premier to 40 m west of Ferris. These last two repairs are expected to be completed within the next couple of weeks.
