A North Bay man faces four child porn counts after a joint police investigation between NBPS and Sudbury police.
On June 20 police executed a search warrant on a North Bay residence and arrested [charges withdrawn], of North Bay.
[charges withdrawn] is charged with:
- Two counts of possession of child pornography; and
- Two counts of accessing child pornography
Police say that an online child pornography investigation was started pertaining to the upload of an image deemed to be child pornography.
On June 20 a search warrant was executed by the North Bay Police Service with the assistance of the Greater Sudbury Police Service Cyber Crime Unit.
During the execution of the search warrant, police seized several devices which will be further examined by the Greater Sudbury Police Service Cyber-crime Unit for evidence.
[charges withdrawn] has been released from custody and will appear in the North Bay Courthouse on July 2.
