Four local charities have come together to organize a golf tournament that will see over $10,000 in prizes.

The turnament will support Hands thefamilyhelpnetwork.ca, Canadore Foundation, KidSport North Bay and One Kids Place. The charities will share in the proceeds.

“We had such amazing community support in our inaugural year, we are excited to host again. The North Bay Open provides us a chance to showcase our great charities and work together within our community,” says Katharine Strang, One Kids Place Development Officer.

The event is a four-person scramble and the North Bay Golf & Country Club will be this year’s host course on Monday, September 20. The club is celebrating its 100th anniversary.

Rebuilt Resources has come on board as title sponsor. “We are so honoured to work with the charities involved in the North Bay Open. The work they do in our community is second to none.” says manager Maureen Brazeau.

“We are thrilled to be a part of this fantastic event. It is really special to witness how everyone comes together to support each other in our community for the North Bay Open,” said Paul Laperriere, Director of Corporate Services at Hands thefamilyhelpnetwork.ca.

The committee also hosts The North Bay Open 50/50 draw as a part of its fundraising efforts. The draw is open now and will run until Monday, September 20th with the winner being announced at the golf course. Tickets are available here.
