Charges Laid in Restoule Legion Break-In

(Restoule, Ontario) The North Bay OPP concluded an investigation which lead to the arrest of a Restoule area man last week. Between June of 2005 and March 2006, the Restoule Legion was broken into and a sum of cash and Nevada tickets were stolen.

Between June of 2005 and March 2006, the Restoule Legion was broken into and a sum of cash and Nevada tickets were stolen. Restoule Legion hired White Pines Investigation of North Bay. They were instrumental in assisting the North Bay OPP Crime Unit with the criminal investigation. The valuable cooperation from White Pines lead to the arrest of 49 year old James Roberts of Patterson Township, Restoule, Ontario.

Roberts was arrested on March 27th, 2006 at the Restoule Legion. Roberts is a regular patron of this establishment. He faces Break and Enter charges along with an Unsafe Storage of a Firearm charge from an unrelated matter. He will be attending court on Tuesday May 2nd, 2006 at the Ontario Court of Justice, 360 Plouffe Street, North Bay, Ontario.

The sum of cash and Nevada ticket loss is valued at approximately $5,000.00.
