Cecil's and Red Maple Barn teaming up

The Red Maple Barn is a century-old farm consisting of the main farmhouse, pavilion building, and 100-year-old barn located in Callander.

A pair of well-known local businesses are teaming up.

Cecil’s has entered an exclusive management and catering agreement with the owners of the Red Maple Barn events venue in Callander.

The Red Maple Barn, owned by Lorie May, is a century-old farm consisting of the main farmhouse, pavilion building and 100-year-old barn located on Birchgrove Drive West.

“We’ve gone to great expense to create a destination venue,” said May. “This place is full of charm and character.  We initially planned on mostly weddings, but there’s demand for other occasions and celebrations as well.”

“This is very exciting for us,” said Cecil’s owner, John Lechlitner. “Cecil’s catering and events management are now the exclusive team responsible for ensuring weddings, corporate events, anniversaries, birthdays and any other memorable occasions are executed professionally and to the highest standards at the Red Maple Barn.”

“Both organizations share a common philosophy, which is, to provide the best possible product coupled with exceptional service to ensure your time with us exceeds your expectations,” said May.

“I know Lori shares our excitement regarding this venture,” said Lechlitner. “In addition to our other locations, being exclusive with the Red Maple Barn means we have an additional venue for our clients to consider. In fact, we are already booking for next year.”

Cecil’s, a long-time fixture in North Bay, is a restaurant and brewpub.

"The Grande has established itself as the premier events venue in North Bay and Cecil’s catering is the go-to choice for clients all year long," added Lechlitner.
