Progress is continuing on the massive construction project along Cassells Street.

Gord Young, communications officer for the City of North Bay, says the contractor is expected to continue installing infrastructure until the end of the month, with Cassells Street slated to reopen during the first week of December.

"Paving of a portion of the street is scheduled to get underway late this week with the remainder completed prior to the street re-opening," said Young in an email to BayToday.

"The project will resume in the spring once the frost is gone."
