It looks like a couple of topics will get a real airing out at City council tonight starting at 7 p.m. according to the agenda.
At least three speakers from the public are scheduled on each topic.
As well Community Services Committee chairman Mark King is expected to bring the report on the Dionne home for a council vote.
It recommends: “That Council direct staff to negotiate the transfer of:
- 1. the former Dionne Quintuplets Home, furniture and certain artefacts to the Strong Agricultural Society;
- 2. paper documents related to the Dionne Quintuplets to the Harris Learning Library at Nipissing University; and
- 3. certain artefacts related to the Dionne Quintuplets to the Callander Bay Museum.”
