While this is no surprise, the popular Carter TV series which was shot in the North Bay area, appears to be coming back for a second season.

“It’s official! Your favourite comedy-crime series will be returning for season 2 on CTV and Bravo,” the Carter Facebook page stated today.

The much-anticipated series shot in North Bay and area in the summer of 2017, premiered on Bravo last May and has been picked up on numerous networks across the globe including WGN in the United States.

Even members of the cast and crew - including star Jerry O’Connell - came to North Bay for a premiere screening that night.

Back in August, Tanya Bédard, Economic Development Officer with the City of North Bay, told BayToday.ca they did not have any firm filming dates set at that time.

There was speculation that the production of Jerry O’Connell’s new talk show may have pushed back production of season two back into 2019.
