Be careful if you have to be on the roads this morning. Motorists are reporting icy conditions, particularly at city intersections. Airport Road was so bad this morning that police were asking motorists to avoid using it if possible, as a tractor-trailer was stuck in the uphill lane. It had since made it up the hill, add police.
The North Bay area is expecting periods of snow today, perhaps as much as 10 cm. It will also be windy with gusts from the northeast at 20 km/h late this afternoon. Periods of light snow will end near midnight.

Meanwhile, just south of us, there is a freezing rain warning for:
- Huntsville - Baysville
- Town of Parry Sound - Rosseau - Killbear Park
- Bracebridge - Gravenhurst
- Port Carling - Port Severn
Light ice accretion is possible on some untreated surfaces. Intermittent freezing rain at times mixed with light snow will come to an end later this morning.
