Cardinal TV series recognized again

The Directors Guild of Canada gave Cardinal three awards during this week's virtual ceremonies

CTV series Cardinal has been renewed for another couple of seasons.

The TV series Cardinal, which was filmed here in North Bay has been recognized again.  

The Directors Guild of Canada gave Cardinal three awards during this week's virtual ceremonies. 

They include "Best Production Design" in the Movies for TV and mini-series category. Cardinal's Dennis Davenport was recognized for the episode "Until the Night, Robert"

Cardinal's Sandy Pereira won Best Picture Editing in the Movies for TV and mini-series category for the episode Until the Night, Scott.  

David McCallum, Barry Gilmore, Jane Tattersall, David Caporale, Brennan Mercer from Cardinal were awarded Best Sound Editing in that same category for the episode Until the Night, John & Lise.

In late May, season three of Cardinal won seven Canadian Screen Awards, including Best Drama.

The fourth and final season of the show filmed in North Bay just finished airing on CTV and Crave this spring.
