Cops are looking to put a guy behind bars rather than wielding them, after a robbery this morning.

They say that shortly after midnight a man approached a vehicle stopped at a Shell gas station on Fisher Street. He was carrying a metal bar and tried to open the vehicle door while demanding money from the occupants.

The victim drove away as the attacker threw the metal bar, breaking the driver side mirror.

The attacker is described as:

  • 5’10”,
  • thin build wearing a mask
  • wearing a dark hooded jacket that went below the waist
  • with red and white stripes on the arms.

Although no money was obtained, Staff Sergeant Richard Dubeau explains that once the demand is made for money and violence is used the robbery is committed.
