Capitol Centre to host Theatre Day Camp on Friday

The Capitol Centre is hosting a children’s theatre camp for elementary school aged children Friday, January 11, 2013.

The day camp will last from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., although early arrivals (as of 8:00 a.m.) and/or late pick-ups are available, and there will be extra activities for those who do arrive early and/or stay late.

The Capitol Centre’s Theatre Day Camp is the perfect opportunity to allow your children to stay active and supervised for the day while school is unavailable. The day will consist of a variety of fun movies, group activities, guided tours, and games. Children may bring their own lunch and snacks, although a pizza combination lunch is available for $5, and a healthy snack (apple or orange) will be provided in the morning. Concessions are also available.

Registration is $25 for the day, with a $2.50 surcharge for those who wish to arrive early and/or stay late. Concessions (water, chocolate, granola bars, chips, popcorn, fruit, pop, juice) are extra and range from $2-6.

For registration, call the box office at 705-474-4747, or visit us at 150 Main St. East, Monday to Friday between 10am-5pm. You can also reserve a space online at www.capitolcentre.org. Camp begins at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. A minimum of 15 children are required to run the camp.

Parents will be notified if numbers are not sufficient to continue as of 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
