It's always nice to see a lottery prize go to someone who can really use it.

Cancer victim Robert Thibert of Mattawa has won $75,000 with INSTANT ROULETTE.

“I had three tickets to scratch,” he said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto where he picked up his winnings. “My winning ticket was the last one although it took a while for the win to sink in.”

Thibert headed to the store and used the ticket checker.

“I scanned my ticket several times and saw ‘Big Winner’ on the screen plus the prize amount, $75,000! Next, I asked the retailer to validate my ticket thinking there had to be something wrong. That’s when I realized my win was real.”

This win comes at a good time for Robert.

“I have been battling cancer and I know I am going to win this one too! My dreams are simple really. I want to have a good life, a new truck on the driveway, a fishing boat in the dock where I can go and enjoy my time. The peace and quiet in the country is important to me and this win will give me more time to enjoy the wonderful community I call home.

"I am at a loss for words to explain what winning the lottery feels like. It is overwhelming and still very hard for me to believe,” he concluded."
