Dwayne Harty, a master of wildlife art, will be lecturing on his vast experience and intriguing craft during Canadore College's Speaker Series.

On Tuesday, July 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the Canadore Room, Dwayne will speak about his 30 years of experience as a wildlife painter and creator of dioramas. Harty draws his inspiration by immersing himself in nature in order to study firsthand the wildlife and landscapes showcased in his masterpieces.

In 2006, Dwayne Harty was the subject of a half-hour PBS television documentary titled Journeys of an Artist. He has created natural history dioramas for the Royal Ontario Museum, the Royal Saskatchewan Museum and the Algonquin Park Visitor Centre. His works are featured in private galleries throughout North America. He is a member of the Society of Animal Artists, the Salmagundi Club and the Explorers Club in New York City.

The Speaker Series is open to the public and free of charge. Come and join us.

Location: Canadore Room, College Drive campus
