Canadore to hold Annual Cultural Gathering

This Saturday, Canadore is hosting the 23nd Annual Cultural Gathering organized by its Aboriginal Student Association.


This year’s theme is Unity in Culture and Traditions and celebrates ancestral beliefs and values. The gathering includes drumming, dancing, Aboriginal arts and crafts, a traditional feast. The pow-wow is an opportunity for the community to participate in a social and cultural event to help strengthen relationships.


Everyone is welcome to attend this one-day event to learn and grow through cultural exchange.

Date: Saturday, February 16, 2013

Time: Grand Entry at 12 p.m. and Feast at 5 p.m.

Location: Education Centre Campus Gymnasium, 100 College Drive, North Bay, Ont.
