Effective immediately Broadspectrum is changing its name to Ferrovial Services. This transition follows the acquisition of the parent company in Australia by Ferrovial Services in May 2016.

Ferrovial Services currently operates two maintenance contracts for the Ministry of Transportation in North Bay and Sault Ste. Marie. The headquarters of Ferrovial Services North America is located in Austin, Texas.

Ferrovial Services, in a news release, says it is a leading, globally influential, brand in the infrastructure business.

"This new brand reflects the wide range of essential services our company provides across multiple industries. There has been no change in management, and Ferrovial Services is dedicated to providing the same level of services on which we have built our reputation in the industry.

Ferrovial Services operates and manages critical transport infrastructure across North America, for example, the Miami Port Tunnel, the Presidio Parkway in San Francisco and the tunnel network in Washington D.C. In the contracts for the Florida DoT and the Ontario MoT, Ferrovial Services delivers a range of activities that expand across the asset lifecycle, including asset inspection, maintenance, snow removal, vegetation control, emergency response, manning of control centers and operation of moveable bridges.
