BPX package leads to drug charges

At 4:20pm on the 12th Sept a man took delivery of a suspicious BPX package at the bus station on Station Rd.

He was arrested, and a subsequent search found a quantity of what is believed to be marijuana in the package and a vial of numerous different pills on his person along with a large wad of cash.

The variety of pills include what is believed to be percocets, oxyneo, hydro-morphine, morphine, and methamphetamine.

Tom Boyer 44yrs of McIntyre St E has been charged with 6 counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and one count of possession of property obtained by crime.

He has been held in custody for a bail hearing.
