Minister Bentley to meet with OPSEU, College Council

TORONTO, March 16 - Training, Colleges and Universities Minister Chris Bentley will ask representatives of the College Compensation and Appointments Council and the Ontario Public Service Employees Union to meet with him on Friday to discuss the current labour situation in Ontario's colleges.

"Our government's main concern continues to be the impact the strike is having on college students," said Bentley. "We're committed to ensuring that Ontario's students are receiving the highest possible quality of education. That's why I feel it's essential for me to sit down with the two key parties involved to discuss the situation."

"We know that our students are the most valuable asset we have for strengthening Ontario's economic prosperity," said Bentley. "Our goal is to ensure that they get the very best education possible."
