A family that lost its dog in the Powassan area is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone who can find it.

The dog went missing on October 8th.  It was last seen on Alsace Road in Powassan.

The dog is a light coloured six-year-old female German Shepherd named Marley.

The dog is owned by Russell Martin, whose brother Brad Martin is recovering in hospital after being involved in a car accident on Lakeshore Drive on September 14th.

The dog is the best friend of Russell’s 13-year-old daughter Destiny.

“She should have her leather Harley Davidson collar on with numerous dog tags on it, her tags are for rabies and her North Bay registrations over the years. She is also micro chipped. She is a very skittish dog and she will growl, but she won't bite. We got her years ago as a rescue, she was beat very bad in her first year, and has never forgotten, she is a great little girl and she needs us in her life,” Russell described on Facebook.

Anyone with information is asked to call Russell at (705) 499-3121.
