The Toronto Sun is reporting that former North Bay Nugget Sports Editor Ken Pagan has been charged with one count of mischief in connection to the beer tossing investigation during Tuesday's Blue Jays-Orioles wild card game at the Rogers Centre.

Earlier in the day the Toronto Police stuck by the controversial image they released of the alleged Beer Tosser which went viral on Twitter and Facebook on Wednesday night.

The Toronto Sun reported that Pagan turned himself in tonight at the Toronto police’s 52 Division around 7:15 p.m.

Reports indicate that Pagan didn't make any comments to the media, but his lawyers expressed concerns about the "trial by social media" Pagan was facing.

The 41-year-old Sudbury native who now resides in Hamilton and will appear in court in November.
